The husband-and-wife team, Ben and Michaela, along with their best friend Daniel, draw inspiration from their Italian heritage spanning Veneto, Lazio, Abruzzo, and Sicily. They specialize in reviving traditional, lesser-known Italian dishes, focusing on rare pasta shapes and regional recipes. Committed to using fresh, locally sourced produce, Zecca also produces its own artisan pasta, including gluten-free options made from Australian chickpea flour. The restaurant operates Tuesday to Saturday, serving breakfast until 11 am and lunch from 12 noon. Dinner service is currently on a short break.
