The Whim Creek Hotel, established in 1886, is a historic landmark located midway between Roebourne and Port Hedland in Western Australia's Pilbara region. Originally built to serve local miners, it has been a cherished rest stop for travelers for over a century. The hotel has undergone several reconstructions due to cyclone damage but has consistently stood as a testament to the area's resilience and history. In recent years, the Ngarluma Aboriginal Corporation has undertaken efforts to restore and reopen the hotel, aiming to revitalize this iconic establishment and provide employment opportunities for the local Indigenous community.
