Weetangera Bakery, established in 1991, is a cherished family-owned establishment in North Canberra's Weetangera suburb. The bakery offers a variety of freshly baked goods, including savory pies, pasties, sausage rolls, and an array of sweet treats. The owners, Tony and Angela, began their journey in 1978 as European Cakes, supplying cafes with various sweets. In 1989, they rebranded as Tony's Patisserie, and in 1991, they moved to their current location, transforming a former pharmacy into a welcoming bakery. Over the years, they've supplied nearly 25 supermarkets and participated in country markets across the ACT and NSW. In 2021, they celebrated 30 years of providing friendly family service to the Belconnen and greater region. The bakery is open Tuesday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, and is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
