Nestled in the heart of Stanthorpe, the Showgrounds offer a serene camping experience amidst expansive, tree-lined grounds. Ideal for caravans, RVs, camper trailers, and rooftop tents, the site provides large, shaded, grassy areas perfect for group camping. Amenities include ample men's and women's toilet facilities, three accessible restrooms, and hot showers with two ensuite blocks, each featuring three toilet/shower combinations. Pets are welcome, provided dogs remain on leads in public areas and owners clean up after them. Additional facilities include a dump point near Gate 2 and potable water; however, guests are encouraged to bring sufficient water for their stay. Managed by the not-for-profit Stanthorpe Agricultural Society, the Showgrounds are not owned or managed by the Southern Downs Regional Council.
