Severn River Cottages offers a tranquil retreat on five acres bordered by pristine forest and the Severn River. Guests can choose from three private cottages, each featuring an attached carport, outdoor fireplace, and undercover patio with outdoor furniture overlooking different aspects of the property. Indoors, amenities include a fireplace, electric blankets, fans, heaters, coffee machine, television, and DVDs. The one-bedroom cottages, Orchard and Catbird, accommodate up to two guests with a generous ensuite, queen-size bed, and well-equipped kitchenette. The two-bedroom cottage, Frog Hollow, accommodates up to five guests and is positioned near the Severn River. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed, the second bedroom has a double bed, and a foldout single bed is available on request. The full-size kitchen includes a fridge, gas oven, and cooktop. Guests can enjoy the peace and nature, with sightings of kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, parrots, catbirds, kookaburras, and more. Canoeing on the Severn River is available, or guests can simply relax and enjoy the slow flow. The cottages are perfectly positioned with a short drive to cellar-door wineries, National Parks, and ten minutes to Stanthorpe.
