Nestled among black sallee gums beside Sawpit Creek, this picnic area offers a serene spot for relaxation. Easily accessible from Jindabyne, it's close to the park entry gates. Visitors can enjoy a picnic or barbecue lunch, then explore three walking tracks: the short and easy Waterfall walk, the Sawpit walk, or the longer Pallaibo track. Keep an eye out for kangaroos among the trees. The area features picnic tables, wood barbecues (bring your own firewood), and non-flush toilets. Parking is available at the picnic area and the nearby Kosciuszko Education Centre.
