Established in the 1930s and re-established in 1975, the Sarina Surf Lifesaving Club is a cornerstone of the Sarina Beach community. Situated at the southern end of Sarina Beach, the club offers a three-storey clubhouse featuring a patrol room, first aid facilities, board storage, a fully operational canteen, administrative office, and training rooms. The club's season runs from September through April each year. As the only surf club in the area, it plays a vital role in delivering aquatic rescue and safety services, aiming for zero preventable deaths at Sarina Beach. The club also offers a Nippers program to develop surf sport skills and undertakes community education initiatives.
