Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Education Committee (PYEC) is an Aṉangu-led organisation dedicated to empowering Aṉangu communities through quality education and support. Established in 1992, PYEC provides leadership to ensure Aṉangu children receive education that honours both Aṉangu and Piṟanpa (non-Indigenous) ways. Operating across the APY Lands, Maralinga Tjarutja, and Yalata Lands, PYEC collaborates with local families to create educational pathways that reflect cultural identity and connection to the land. Their vision is for Aṉangu children to be strong in their learning, spirit, and connection to country, with Aṉangu leading the way in education.
