Nestled in the historic Dysart House, an 1840s colonial inn, Old Kempton Distillery crafts artisanal spirits using traditional methods and local Tasmanian ingredients. Visitors can enjoy guided tours of the distillery, tasting flights of single malt whisky, gin, and liqueurs, and relax in the charming café offering house-made treats. The cellar door showcases a variety of locally made products, including Olde Spikey Bridge Peanut Butter and Port Arthur Lavender Farm items. Open daily from 10 am to 4 pm, the distillery is a 40-minute drive from Hobart and approximately two hours from Launceston.
