Old Bonalbo Pioneer,s Park

Old Bonalbo Pioneers Park, located along Duck Creek in Old Bonalbo, NSW, offers a serene setting for visitors. The park features grassy areas, composting toilets, sheltered picnic tables, a wood-fired barbecue, and a rainwater tank (non-potable). It's pet-friendly, allowing dogs under certain conditions. The park is dedicated to the memory of all pioneers of Old Bonalbo, with a plaque commemorating their contributions. The name "Bunaw" in the Gidabal dialect means "Bloodwood Trees," reflecting the area's heritage. The park was partially funded by the New South Wales Bicentennial Council to celebrate Australia's Bicentenary in 1988.
