Broomehill Village, located in Western Australia's Great Southern region, is a charming town with a rich history dating back to the late 19th century. Established in 1890, it was named after Sir Frederick Napier Broome, the then Governor of Western Australia. The town's development was significantly influenced by the completion of the Great Southern Railway in 1889, which connected Beverley to Albany. This railway facilitated the town's growth and economic prosperity. Broomehill Village is renowned for its wheat farming industry and serves as a Cooperative Bulk Handling receival site. The town also offers attractions like the Holland Track, a historic 700km walking and 4WD track established in 1893 by pioneer John Holland, which begins in Broomehill and ends in Coolgardie.
