Co-owned by Chris and Alice Henry, the café has become a beloved gathering spot, especially after its pivot during the pandemic to serve the community more directly. The menu features signature dishes like corn fritters with poached egg, crème fraîche, dill, and your choice of bacon or halloumi, as well as truffled mushrooms with poached eggs, sautéed baby spinach, and shaved parmesan. The café also offers a selection of sweet and savory pastries, all baked in-house daily. Open daily from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Blackbird Thirroul provides a cozy atmosphere where patrons can enjoy quality food, excellent coffee, and a sense of community.
