Yengo National Park

Yengo National Park, located less than two hours from Sydney or Newcastle, offers a rugged landscape of steep gorges and rocky ridges, ideal for 4WD, mountain biking, and hiking. As part of the Greater Blue Mountains Area World Heritage Property, it boasts spectacular views, remote wilderness, and unique Aboriginal cultural heritage, including numerous sacred sites and rock engravings. The historic Old Great North Road in the southeast of the park serves as a reminder of its colonial history. Visitors can explore 4WD trails, mountain bike routes, and walking tracks like the Big Yango loop trail, or stay overnight at Big Yango House or camp under the stars.
