Visitors can enjoy picnics and barbecues in the shaded areas, swim in the designated roped-off zones, and launch boats from the double-lane public boat ramp. The area also features a playground for children and permits fishing with the appropriate license. Open daily from 5:30 am to 6:30 pm (September–April) and 6:00 am to 5:30 pm (May–August), The Spit provides a serene environment for outdoor activities.
