Nestled in North East Victoria, Nug Nug Reserve offers a serene camping experience approximately 13 km south of Myrtleford on Buffalo River Road. Surrounded by the picturesque Mount Buffalo National Park, it provides ample space for tents, caravans, motorhomes, and swags. The reserve features two toilet blocks (one with disabled access), cold showers, limited powered sites, picnic tables, free electric undercover BBQs, a tennis court, a shared basketball/netball court, fireplaces, and a swimming waterhole. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. The reserve operates on a first-come, first-served basis and does not accept bookings. It's conveniently located near Lake Buffalo (10 km) for swimming, fishing, and water skiing, and Mount Buffalo (60 km) for hiking, horse riding, or rock climbing. Nearby towns such as Myrtleford, Bright, Milawa, and Wangaratta offer shopping, fine food, and wine tasting opportunities.
