Nadgee wilderness walk

Embark on a challenging 55 km, four-day hike along the pristine southern New South Wales coastline, from Merrica River to Mallacoota. This Grade 5 track is designed for experienced hikers, featuring remote beaches, rugged coastlines, tranquil lagoons, and shifting sand dunes. Along the way, encounter diverse wildlife, including short-tailed shearwaters, gannets, and migrating whales between May and November. Campsites such as Little Creek Estuary, Bunyip Hole, and Nadgee River offer serene overnight stays. Permits are required for overnight camping; contact the Merimbula NPWS office for details.
