Mundoo Island Station

Mundoo Island Station, established in 1843, is a privately owned cattle and sheep station located 1.5 hours south of Adelaide in South Australia's Coorong region. Spanning approximately 3,000 acres, the station operates over a series of islands at the mouth of the River Murray, where freshwater meets the saltwater of the Coorong. The property is home to a predominantly Angus beef herd and Dorper sheep, with Arabian/Australian Stockhorses bred for livestock mustering. The station offers farmstay accommodations, camping, historic tours, photography tours, and birdwatching tours, providing a unique experience in a diverse ecosystem.
