Muloorina Station, a working cattle station since the 1800s, is situated approximately 54 kilometers northwest of Marree, South Australia, on the edge of Lake Eyre. The station spans 4,000 square kilometers and operates both sheep and cattle. Visitors can camp at the Frome Creek waterhole, featuring concrete picnic tables, shade trees, and flushing toilets. The area is renowned for its birdlife, including brolgas, kites, and galahs. An honesty box system is in place for camping fees, with proceeds supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
