Laura Bay Conservation Park, situated 20 km southeast of Ceduna, preserves the original vegetation of South Australia's western coastline. The sheltered bay, with its tidal samphire flats and mangroves, provides ideal feeding grounds for migratory sea birds. Established in 1911, the headland features a historic landing site where grain was once loaded onto ketches. Visitors can enjoy bush camping with minimal facilities, including unpowered sites suitable for tents, camper trailers, and caravans. Campfires are permitted outside the annual Fire Danger Season. Access is via Decres Bay Road or directly from Flinders Highway.
