The Lake Goldsmith Steam & Vintage Rally, established in the late 1950s, is Australia's premier steam rally, featuring over 65 display sheds with steam and oil-powered engines, sawmills, earthmoving equipment, motorcycles, trucks, tractors, and more. Unique to the Australian scene, it boasts permanent sheds owned by club members, housing restored steam engines, traction engines, steam rollers, internal combustion engines, farm tractors, and a restored farm cottage displaying old wares. Highlights include Australia's largest 90-ton fully operational steam shovel, daily grand parades, blacksmithing, threshing, boiler house tours, and radio-controlled model boats. The rally is a bi-annual event, with upcoming dates on May 2nd & 3rd and November 1st & 2nd, 2025.
