The Kingborough & Huon Business Enterprise Centre (KHBEC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering small and medium-sized businesses in Southern Tasmania's Kingborough and Huon Valley regions. Established in 2000, KHBEC offers free and confidential business advisory services, including assistance with business planning, start-up advice, financial forecasting, and guidance on GST and taxation issues. They also provide referrals to local specialists and host regular networking events and workshops to support the local business community. Operating offices in Kingston and Huonville, KHBEC is supported by the State Government and local councils, and is governed by a board of local business leaders and community representatives.
