Nestled in the picturesque Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, Durran Durra Truffles offers an immersive truffle hunting experience. Set against the backdrop of the Tallaganda Range, the farm cultivates the prized black winter truffle (Tuber melanosporum) in an ideal climate. Guests can join intimate hunts, limited to 12 participants, where they observe Max, the truffle-finding kelpie, in action. Each hunt lasts approximately one hour and includes tastings, with fresh truffles available for purchase. Virginia, a seasoned microbiologist, hosts these unique experiences, sharing her passion for truffles and the natural environment.
