Cullerin, NSW

The Cullerin Range Wind Farm, situated near Gunning in New South Wales, Australia, harnesses wind energy with a total capacity of 30 MW. Operational since July 2009, it comprises 15 Senvion turbines, each mounted on 80-meter towers, generating approximately 87 GWh of clean electricity annually. This output powers about 15,800 homes and prevents around 63,500 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year. The wind farm spans a 3.5 km stretch across private properties, where landowners continue traditional farming activities, such as sheep grazing beneath the turbine towers.
