Cooktown Events Centre

The Cooktown Events Centre, located at 3 May Street, serves as a vibrant hub for community activities, sports, recreation, and events. Managed by the Cook Shire Council, the facility offers a fully equipped gym with cardio, resistance machines, and free weights, along with flexible membership options. Weekly group fitness classes, including HIIT and cross-training sessions, are available. The centre features a commercial kitchen, a hall with a presentation stage and stadium-style seating for up to 800 people, meeting rooms, office spaces, and an outdoor stage pavilion. It is ideal for indoor and outdoor events, performances, presentations, functions, weddings, ceremonies, seminars, and community workshops.
