Situated approximately 110 km west of the Stuart Highway in South Australia's Glendambo region, Commonwealth Hill Station spans 513,000 hectares, making it the second-largest sheep station in Australia. The station manages a flock of 30,000 Merino sheep, with around 12,000 ewes lambing annually. Operating in a semi-arid climate, the homestead utilizes 24-hour solar power complemented by a backup generator. The station's remoteness fosters community engagement through local events such as the Coober Pedy Races and Glendambo Gymkhana.
