Nestled in the serene bushland of Bectric, the historic Bectric Hall Recreation Reserve offers a unique camping experience. Established in 1904, the hall stands as the country's last remaining pise hall, showcasing traditional rammed-earth construction. Surrounding the hall, campers can enjoy spacious open fields or opt for gravelled areas closer to the building. Amenities include a community undercover BBQ area and tennis courts (bring your own equipment). Please note, there are no toilet or shower facilities; campers should be self-sufficient and practice Leave No Trace principles. Nearby towns, Ariah Park and Temora, offer various cafes, restaurants, Lake Centenary, and the renowned Temora Aviation Museum. The reserve is approximately three hours from Canberra, one hour from Wagga Wagga, and 2.5 hours from Albury.
