University of Melbourne, Dookie campus

The University of Melbourne's Dookie campus, established in 1886, spans 2,440 hectares in Victoria's Goulburn Valley. It features a broadacre farm, dairy farm with robotic milking, orchard, winery, and a 270-hectare bushland reserve. The campus offers on-site accommodation, including 85 new ensuite units, and recreational facilities like a swimming pool, gym, and sports courts. Students engage in hands-on learning, participating in research on food security, biodiversity, and water efficiency. The campus is approximately 30 minutes from Shepparton and Benalla, and two and a half hours from Melbourne.
