Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge, located 30 kilometers northeast of Katherine, is a stunning 13-gorge system carved through ancient sandstone by the Katherine River. This natural wonder offers a variety of activities, including canoeing, bushwalking, mountain biking, swimming, camping, boating, and fishing. The Nitmiluk Visitor Centre, situated at the entrance to the gorge, provides a café, souvenir shop, and cultural displays. Visitors can also book boat tours, helicopter flights, and canoe trips at the centre. The park requires visitors to have a parks pass.
