Ngukurr Art Centre, nestled along the Roper River in South East Arnhem Land, unites artists from diverse clans, including Ngalakgan, Alawa, Mangarrayi, Ngandi, Marra, Warndarrang, Nunggubuyu, Ritharrngu-Wägilak, and Rembarrnga, collectively known as Yugul Mangi. This community-owned centre showcases a vibrant array of artworks, from traditional paintings to contemporary pieces, reflecting the rich cultural tapestry of the region. Visitors are welcomed to explore the gallery, engage with artists, and purchase unique creations, with 60% of sales directly supporting the artists. The centre operates Monday to Friday, 10 am to 4 pm.
