Meriba Ged Ngalpun Mab Thursday Island

Meriba Ged Ngalpun Mab (MGNM) is an Indigenous organization based in the Torres Strait Islands, delivering the Government’s Community Development Programme (CDP) since July 2019. MGNM connects employment, business, and skill development opportunities for job seekers across the region. They offer local activities advancing community skills in areas such as welding, pottery, construction, and marine. Through one-on-one mentoring and training, MGNM provides both certified and non-certified qualifications, aiming to increase workforce participation and economic empowerment in the Torres Strait.
