Iltja Ntjarra (Many Hands) Art Centre, located at 29 Wilkinson Street in Alice Springs, is an Aboriginal-owned and directed not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the Hermannsburg School of watercolour painting. Established in 2004, the centre serves as a collaborative space for Western Aranda artists to paint, share, and learn new techniques. It proudly supports artists continuing the legacy of Albert Namatjira, one of Australia's most renowned 20th-century artists. Visitors can explore a diverse collection of artworks, engage with artists, and purchase pieces directly, ensuring that a significant portion of sales benefits the creators. The centre operates Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, and is a short 15-minute walk from the heart of Alice Springs.
