Fitzgerald River National Park

Fitzgerald River National Park, spanning approximately 329,882 hectares in Western Australia, is renowned for its exceptional biodiversity. Home to nearly 20% of the state's plant species, the park features over 1,800 flowering plants, including 75 species found nowhere else. Its diverse landscapes encompass rugged mountains, pristine beaches, and unique spongelite cliffs. Visitors can enjoy activities such as bushwalking, camping, canoeing, fishing, and whale-watching. The park is also a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, highlighting its global ecological significance. Access is available via Bremer Bay or Hopetoun, with facilities including campgrounds and walking trails.
