Nestled 11 km north of Innisfail and 84 km south of Cairns, the Daradgee Environmental Education Centre (DEEC) spans 1.4 hectares, complemented by an adjacent 2.7-hectare council reserve. The centre offers residential camps and day excursions for students from Prep to Year 12, as well as community groups and sporting organisations. Facilities include air-conditioned accommodation for up to 108 people, a kitchen and dining area, an indoor climbing shed, a low ropes challenge course, a farm shed, and a 23-seat surveyed vessel. Programs focus on health and physical education, science, and personal and social capabilities, aligning with the Australian Curriculum.
