Anna Creek Station, located 160 km east of Coober Pedy and 16 km west of William Creek along the Coober Pedy Road, spans 15,746 square kilometres. The landscape features a mix of sand hill country, swamps, and extensive gibber tablelands. Established in 1863, the station has evolved from sheep grazing to a focus on cattle breeding and fattening. As of 2016, it is managed by Williams Cattle Company, which acquired Anna Creek Station along with The Peake Station.
