Nestled in Hamilton, Young People's Theatre Newcastle Inc. (YPT) has been a cornerstone of youth theatre in the Hunter region for over 75 years. This community-run, not-for-profit organisation offers a vibrant space where young people aged 8 to 18 can engage in drama, musical theatre, dance, and voice classes. With approximately 400 students attending weekly, YPT stages six productions annually, providing ample performance opportunities. The theatre's 148-seat auditorium, established in 1999, continues to host a variety of shows, fostering creativity and community spirit.
