YMCA North Lakes Youth Centre (The Space North Lakes)

YMCA North Lakes Youth Centre, known as The Space, offers a vibrant environment for young people and the broader community. Located at the corner of Lakefield Drive and Endeavour Boulevard in North Lakes, Queensland, it features a multi-purpose event and activity space centered around a half-court play area, spectator seating, a grassed amphitheater, a small performance stage, multiple skate elements, and areas for external artworks and graffiti. The facility hosts various programs and events, including outreach nights, after-school drop-ins, and 3-on-3 basketball competitions, fostering a sense of ownership and freedom of expression through music, dance, recreation, and social interaction. The Space also offers versatile facility hire options, including learning areas and performance spaces, suitable for meetings, classes, conferences, and events. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 7 am to 8 pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm.
