Yellabinna Wilderness Protection Area

Yellabinna Wilderness Protection Area offers a pristine expanse of red sand dunes and open shrublands, providing a stark contrast of red and blue that captivates photographers. Visitors can traverse various 4WD tracks, including the renowned Googs Track, which winds through the reserve. The area is home to rare wildlife such as scarlet-chested parrots, Major Mitchell's cockatoos, thorny devils, sandhill dunnarts, and malleefowl. A prominent feature is Mt Finke, a rocky outcrop 137 km north of Ceduna, offering spectacular sunset views over the vast landscape.
