
Yarrabah Aboriginal Community, located on Cape Grafton in Far North Queensland, is the traditional land of the Gunggandji and Yidinji peoples. Approximately 10 kilometers east of Cairns, this coastal community encompasses Mission Bay and stretches over 35 kilometers in length. Yarrabah is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, including the Yarrabah Arts and Cultural Precinct, which features the Menmuny Museum and the Yarrabah Arts Centre. The community celebrates its history and traditions through various cultural events, such as the annual Yarrabah Music & Cultural Festival.
