Located at 1 Nazeer Street on Thursday Island, Torres Strait Kaziw Meta Inc. is a boarding facility dedicated to providing quality education for students from the outer islands of the Torres Strait. Established in 1978, it offers on-country learning experiences, allowing students to study within their community at Waibene Koey Nurapay Mudh (Tagai Secondary Campus). The facility has a capacity for 66 boarders and has recently expanded to accommodate additional students, enhancing the educational opportunities available to First Nations youth in the region.
