Located at 142 Liverpool Street in Hobart, The Grand Poobah is a vibrant venue offering a diverse array of entertainment. Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, it hosts live performances featuring local, national, and international bands, alongside dance, comedy, karaoke, and cabaret acts. The venue also boasts a lounge bar known as the Kissing Room, private function spaces, and an art gallery. Notably, The Grand Poobah has been the host of LIMBO's party for queer Tasmanians since 2017, a continually successful event that also donates some of its proceeds to Working It Out.
