St John's Anglican Church Dongara

St John the Baptist Anglican Church, located at 15 Waldeck Street in Dongara, Western Australia, is a heritage-listed building consecrated on June 28, 1885. Designed by colonial architect Francis Bird, it exemplifies the Victorian Gothic style. Constructed from local limestone, the church features stained glass windows, jarrah flooring, and pews crafted from local driftwood timber. Notably, the church's bell, originally from Fremantle Gaol, is mounted in a timber frame adjacent to the building. The church is part of the Anglican Diocese of North West Australia and holds regular Sunday services at 9:00 am, followed by morning tea.
