The Somali Community Association of Queensland (SCAQ) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting over 4,000 Somali individuals across southeast Queensland. Established in 2010, SCAQ aims to promote social cohesion between the Somali community and the wider Australian society. Operating from 44 Skylark Street in Inala, the association offers a range of services, including education, youth development, sports activities, and cultural programs that celebrate Somali traditions. SCAQ also advocates on behalf of its members to both government and non-government agencies, ensuring their needs are addressed.
