Semaphore Greek Festival

The Semaphore Greek Festival, held annually at Semaphore Foreshore, celebrates Greek culture with authentic cuisine, traditional music, and dance performances. The 2025 festival, themed "Όλοι Μαζί" ("All Together"), emphasized unity and community spirit. Organized by the Greek Orthodox Community of the Nativity of Christ, Port Adelaide & Environs, the event featured over 300 volunteers and attracted 45,000 attendees over two days. Highlights included competitions like "Who Loves Pita," plate smashing, and live music by Xara Dimitriou and Band Enosis. Proceeds supported local community initiatives and the preservation of Greek heritage.
