The Royal Flying Doctor Service Central Operations, located at 1 Tower Road, Adelaide Airport SA 5950, is a pivotal hub for emergency medical services across South Australia and the Sunraysia region of Victoria. This state-of-the-art facility, operational since September 2016, houses a 2,100m² hangar accommodating up to six aircraft, including the Pilatus PC-12 and the Pilatus PC-24 aeromedical jet. The base offers 24-hour emergency retrievals, inter-hospital transfers, and primary healthcare services to remote communities. It also serves as the administrative center for the RFDS, housing teams in Executive, Corporate Services, Marketing, Public Relations, People & Culture, and Health Services.
