
The Rocky Creek WWII Igloo, located on Frazer Road in Tolga, Queensland, is a heritage-listed venue with a rich history dating back to World War II. Constructed in 1943, it served as an entertainment hub for troops stationed on the Atherton Tablelands, hosting films, concerts, and dances. After the war, the building was repurposed as a family home and cane factory before falling into disrepair. In 2017-18, the Rotary Club of Atherton, with community support, restored the Igloo, preserving its unique character. Today, it offers a distinctive setting for events, allowing guests to connect with its storied past while creating new memories.
