Point Labatt Conservation Park, located 55 kilometers south of Streaky Bay on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula, is home to the only permanent colony of Australian sea lions on the mainland. A viewing platform 50 meters above the beach offers visitors the chance to observe these rare and endangered marine mammals, along with New Zealand fur seals basking on the rocks. The park is accessible via Flinders Highway and is a popular half-day trip from Streaky Bay. To protect the animals' natural habitat, camping and access to the aquatic reserve below are prohibited.
