Nestled 70 kilometers south of Bathurst, the Old Errowanbang Woolshed is a heritage-listed marvel built in 1886. Designed by architect Watts, this unique structure spans four levels, each serving distinct functions in the wool processing journey. The shed boasts 40 shearing stands, with 26 preserved for traditional hand shearing, offering a glimpse into historical wool harvesting methods. Its design ingeniously utilizes the hillside's natural slope, facilitating efficient wool movement from shearing to storage. Recognized for its architectural significance, the woolshed was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on June 23, 2006.
