The North Queensland Elite Rodeo, held annually at the Hervey Range Rodeo Grounds in Townsville, Queensland, showcases top Australian rodeo athletes competing for substantial prize money across events like Bareback, Steer Wrestling, Breakaway Roping, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc, Tie Down, Barrel Racing, and Bull Riding. The 2025 event is scheduled for August 15-16, featuring both open and junior divisions. Gates open at 4:00 pm on Friday and 11:00 am on Saturday, with the main event starting at 5:30 pm on Saturday. Children under 5 enter free, and the venue is licensed with no BYO allowed. Camping is available for competitors.
