Nestled in the rugged northern Flinders Ranges of South Australia, the Nipapanha Community Aboriginal Corporation oversees the Indigenous Protected Area (IPA) of Nantawarrina. Established in 1998, Nantawarrina was Australia's first IPA, covering 58,000 hectares of Adnyamathanha lands. The community offers cultural tours, educational programs, and camping facilities, inviting visitors to experience the rich heritage and natural beauty of the area. Managed by dedicated rangers, Nantawarrina is home to diverse wildlife, including the vulnerable yellow-footed rock wallaby. The community also provides municipal services, housing maintenance, and advocacy for residents.
