Nestled in the picturesque sugar cane town of Mossman, the Masonic Centre stands as a beacon of community and tradition. Home to the Port Douglas-Mossman Lodge No. 40H, it serves as the sole lodge in the area, fostering a welcoming environment for men of good character from all walks of life. The lodge hosts various events, including a stall at the annual Mossman Show each July and occasional gatherings like Barefoot Bowls and inter-lodge tournaments at the Mossman Bowls Club. The current Lodge Temple, constructed by voluntary labor, was consecrated on April 14, 1958.
